Going Global

Study Chinese law is the key to exploit this emerging market
By Chris Robertson, Major International

Today, all eyes are on China in its emergence as the next potential superpower in the world. With a population of 1.3 million and a workforce that the U.S. State Department estimated at over 710 million, China's economy is growing rapidly. The country's total exports only about $ 760 billion, ranging from electronics and clothing to furniture and medical equipment. With the country's GDP is growing at around ten percent per year, it is no wonder that companies ranging from Google to Wal-Mart are trying to gain a foothold.

After all, China is a country of consumers and producers and companies around the world see China as a mature market for goods and services.
